Honour Your Legends is MIHS’s landmark recognition programme, the first of its kind at an Indian houseware trade show, dedicated to celebrating the builders, pioneers, and steadfast contributors who shaped the housewares, home décor, furniture, cookware, and giftware industry over the decades.
This is an industry gratitude award. It honours the generation that did the hard, unglamorous work of building trade relationships, establishing quality standards, and growing businesses before the market boom. A Legend is someone whose contributions span 25 years or more in India’s housewares and home products trade. They may be a current owner, a retired founder, a father, an uncle, or a manager whose decisions were central to the growth of a company or business group.

Yes. Each nomination is treated as a separate submission. If you believe two people from your business or family deserve recognition, nominate both.
The nominee should have been active in the industry for at least 25 years. The programme welcomes nominations for both active and retired contributors, and also honours those whose legacy continues to shape their business posthumously.
Nomination is free and open to all industry participants connected to MIHS 2026.
